The Little Leather Library Corporation, founded in New York City by Charles and Albert Boni, Harry Scherman, and Max Sackheim issued 101 literary classics in miniature editions from 1916 until the mid 1920's. In 1920, they began marketing "30 of the World's Greatest Masterpieces'' by mail for $2.98. In 1926, Sackheim & Scherman founded the Book of the Month Club.
