Details: An exquisite, rare ocarina produced by Max Freyer & Co. in Meissen, Germany. Crafted from hard paste porcelain, the piece is finished with a pale yellow ground featuring vibrant and delicate hand painted florals and scrollwork. It bears a blue "MEISSEN" block letter factory stamp on the mouth piece and a machine pressed "C" mark consistent with documented examples from the Freyer workshop.
