About the Artist: Rose Sakel was a renowned artist from East Brunswick, New Jersey. She held numerous successful solo exhibitions and also taught art classes. Additionally, she owned an art gallery in Long Beach Island where she not only displayed her own artwork but also that of other talented local artists.
"My work comes from inside," she said. "It’s not just seeing a scene and doing a scene. My works come from my heart and soul. That people find them interesting makes me very happy."
Rose Sakel passed away in her home on May 29, 2013.
