Details: Delicate off white parian ware plate with a ruffled, pink tinged edge and fine gold trim. The back of the plate is marked with the brown, crescent shaped hallmark with "BELLEEK", "O&B" initials and "Trenton, NJ".
In the 1880's, a number of workers left the Belleek factory in Ireland and came to the United States. Of these emigrants, William Bromley and his son, also called William, went to work for the Ott & Brewer company in Trenton, NJ. The company only produced it's "Belleek" formula pottery from 1883 until 1893 when the business was sold and became Cook Pottery.
