Condition: Very good vintage condition. One yellow flower on the top corner of one urn has a broken petal and leaf. Two fleabite chips on the petals at the very top of one lid. These pieces were always kept behind glass in a smoke free home. Please see photos.
Details: Pair of lidded compote urns manufactured by the prestigious Von Schierholz porcelain manufactory in Plaue, Thuringia, Germany. Each of these lovely urns features detailed hand painted floral panels, numerous hand applied flowers, and a pair of sculpted putti/cherubs acting as the handles. Both are designed with a removeable, perforated lid allowing the scent of dried botanicals to diffuse through a room.
