An exceptional, collector-grade Romanian military surplus AKM Type 1 bayonet, historically paired with the PM md. 63 assault rifle. This is a highly desirable "time capsule" rig that remains fully complete and factory-matched.
KEY COLLECTOR FEATURES:
- 100% Factory Matching Numbers: The serial number "SAF 2345" is cleanly roll-stamped on both the knife crossguard and the steel scabbard. This is a true matching set, NOT a mismatched or electric-penciled mix-master.
- Original Leather Retention Strap: Includes the original brown leather wrist strap. Crucially, the strap is intact, pliable, and retains its original metal collar stud ("bubble") closure—a component that is almost always rotted or missing on these surplus imports.
- Functional Wire-Cutter Configuration: The clip-point blade features the standard serrated sawback spine and central slot that hooks perfectly into the scabbard lug to form emergency wire cutters.
- Bakelite Grip & Insulator: The distinctive reddish-brown Bakelite handle and gray rubber scabbard insulator sleeve are in excellent surplus condition with standard military storage character.
