An antique 4-piece sterling silver coffee and tea service set manufactured by S. Kirk & Son Inc. This set features a heavily chased floral Repoussé design. Every lidded vessel (the Coffee Pot, Teapot, and Covered Sugar Bowl) is crowned with a highly detailed, matching cast figural "Dolphin" (sea monster) finial.
Hallmarks & Dating:
- Teapot, Sugar Bowl, & Creamer: Stamped "S. Kirk & Son Inc Sterling 925/1000" on base, dating their production to 1924-1932

Coffee Pot: Stamped with the earlier mark "S. Kirk & Son" on the base rim.
Engraved Family Provenance: Hand engraved timeline on the bottom of the coffee pot documents ownership across four generations.

Condition Report
- Silver Body: Excellent antique condition. The repoussé work remains crisp and defined. No major dents or deep scratches.
- Teapot Handle: Tight and completely secure.
- Coffee Pot Handle: Has a small amount of normal vintage play at the joints but remains structurally secure with original insulating pins intact. However, note that the bottom insulating ring/ferrule appears to have a crack or split.
