Age: 1951 “Centennial Anniversary Edition” - with badge created exclusively to commemorate 100 years of Singer manufacturing (1851–1951).
These special blue-rimmed badges were only applied to machines allocated or manufactured during the official anniversary year.
Condition: Very nice pre-owned condition. We plugged it in everything appears to be in good working order. The power cord functions, but is in poor condition with some exposed wire so it must replaced before using. The carrying case is missing the right release bottom but still opens with a small screwdriver. Please see photos.
Details: Collector demand for the "Centennial" designation typically adds a 15% to 20% premium over standard 1950ss Featherweight models in equivalent cosmetic and mechanical condition.
