Condition: Very good-near fine. Very minor wear/rubbing to edges and corners. Five volumes show marginally more fading and wear than the others. Fading and wear to paper spine labels, especially the red ink. Bindings are sound. Very minor toning and foxing. Two volumes of the complete 14-volume set are missing.
Details: Dark green cloth covered books of nearly uniform size, varying only in thickness. Personal bookplate on front endpaper of each volume. Deckle edges on sides and bottom, gold on top edges of text. The Westminster Edition was limited to 1000 copies, of which this set is #357. The two volumes of 'Westward Ho!' are missing.
