An incredibly unique and highly collectible piece of gentlemen's jewelry: a rare antique Victorian/Edwardian novelty tie chain featuring a beautifully crafted miniature tambourine pendant fob.

This piece showcases spectacular period craftsmanship. The face of the miniature tambourine features a genuine, iridescent mother-of-pearl "drumhead" secured neatly within a gold-filled prong setting. Most remarkably, the tiny metal jingles (cymbals) along the rim are individually pinned and fully articulate, subtly moving and shifting just like a real instrument.

The pendant is attached via a fine cable link chain to a classic gold-filled button bar loop. To wear, simply slip the large metal loop over a dress shirt button to anchor it hidden behind your tie, allowing the elegant chain and novelty tambourine pendant to drape across the front.
