Vintage 10K Gold 7.25ct Amethyst & Seed Pearl Halo Cocktail Ring - Size 6.5

A stunning, substantial mid-century Victorian Revival cocktail ring. This estate statement piece features a massive, oval-cut natural purple amethyst gemstone framed by a delicate halo of natural seed pearls.

The ring has been physically tested and verified. The gemstone has been authenticated on a Presidium Gem Tester 2, and the metallic content has been fully XRF verified as solid 10K yellow gold.

The ring has a highly desirable historical provenance, arriving in its rare, original cream-colored presentation box from the historic, permanently closed mid-century boutique "Ellen's Jewelry" of Anchorage, Alaska.

Design & Craftsmanship Details:
The central amethyst measures an impressive 11.8 mm x 15.3 mm, yielding an estimated face weight of over 7 carats. It boasts a beautiful, vibrant medium-to-deep purple hue with excellent clarity. The surrounding 2 mm seed pearls exhibit a classic cream to naturally aged silvery-gray patina, showcasing their organic vintage character.

The setting is robust and exceptionally well-made, weighing a solid 8.3 grams. The side view reveals a classic mid-century architectural stepped-shoulder design that tapers into a wide, durable 5 mm shank.

Condition Report:
Excellent vintage condition. The structural integrity of the band, under-gallery, and prongs is excellent. The amethyst is securely set with minimal wear to the facets. The pearls show beautiful, authentic variation in color consistent with natural aging. Ready to wear or add to a fine estate collection.
