Vintage German Figurines of Children with Trees (Pair)

Dimensions: Each 7 3/4" Tall x 5" Wide x 2 1/2" Deep

Condition:  Very good pre-owned vintage condition.  No chips, cracks, or crazing. A couple of small spots with minor paint loss. Please see photos.  

Details:  Pair of figurines, one each of a boy and a girl under a tree. The little girl stands to the left of her tree, holding a white kitten and a basket of flowers in the crook of her arm.  She wears a blue dress. brown boots and a rust red hooded cloak.  A brown and white dog barks up the tree at a black cat in the crutch.  The boy plays a horn while sitting on a stile.  He wears brown short pants and a white checked shirt with white socks and clogs, and a red tie at his neck.  A brown hat with a white feather sits jauntily on his head.  The tree seems to grow out of the rocks at its base and sports a few light green leaves and orange flowers.  A birdhouse is attached to the tree near the top, and a gray and light orange bird sings merrily from the top of the trunk.  The browns and greens on the trees and oval bases of both figures are pale and washed.  There is an embossed beaded border around the base of the figure with the boy.  Figure with girl is impressed with 21291GERMANY on bottom, boy is impressed with 20962 GERMANY.  What appears to be an uppercase "I" superimposed over an uppercase "C" is impressed on the bottom of both.
