Beautiful vintage 1980s Italian crafted chevron V-shaped necklace in solid 14K yellow gold. This piece features a striking, fluid panther mesh or woven x-link chain that lays flat perfectly against the collarbone without kinking.
At the center apex sits a brilliant bezel-set genuine diamond solitaire measuring 4.7mm (approximately 0.40 carats). The diamond shows incredible fire and high dispersion, throwing off beautiful rainbow flashes under the light. It is premium quality, featuring a bright, colorless F color grade and clean SI clarity.
The end tag is clearly stamped "14KT ITALY" confirming its gold purity and country of origin. The opposite end tag features micro-stamped hallmark lettering including a double "L" geometric mark and a sequence reading "jmr-s". While this confirms it is an authentic, highly regulated piece from a premium Italian workshop, the exact manufacturer could not be identified.
