Details: Slightly larger sized white porcelain lidded oval box with bronze hinged frame. Overall bright blue mottled enamel with hand painted white ovals on lid and on front and back. Front and back panels painted with trees with leaves and berries, and distant bird in flight. Oval on lid painted with a robin perched on a branch with leaves and berries. Ovals on lid and sides framed with hand painted gold flourishes that extend out like feathers. Small gold feather design painted on bottom of inside. Bottom of box hand-lettered "Peint Main L.B Limoges France" in black, and beneath "Eximious" in gold. Clasp on bronze rim in the shape of a bird in flight.
