A beautiful, vintage double-matted and framed pair of art prints by the highly celebrated Charleston, South Carolina artist Virginia Fouché Bolton (1929–2004). Known for her evocative watercolor scenes, Bolton perfectly captured the historic charm and rich Gullah culture of the Lowcountry.
Top Print: "Rainbow Row" (Originally painted in 1977) – Depicts the famous, vibrant historic pastel homes on East Bay Street.
Bottom Print: "Flowers and Baskets" (Originally painted in 1982) – Captures the historic Charleston flower ladies selling downtown.
Each print is signed in pencil, in addition to the printed signature.
Condition: The prints are housed in a gorgeous gold-toned wood frame with a clean, light-colored double matting. The matte displays a degree of toning.
