Details: Scarce American walnut “Ruby” model clock by the Waterbury Clock Company with rectangular, cottage style frame flanked by rounded side pillars. The lower portion of the front door glass is decorated with a geometric and floral stencil border. This model utilizes an integrated mechanical mechanism, a highly popular optional upgrade for shelf clocks in the late 19th century. A brass alarm setting disc is located directly in the center of the dial, though it has not been tested and its condition is unknown.
