Winter Themed Diorama Goose Egg Under Dome

Condition: Excellent Vintage condition. Near mint.

Details:  Hand carved and decorated goose egg, mounted vertically on a gold-tone metal pedestal.  Oval opening on one side shows a street scene applied to the interior surface with snowy bottom and Colonial-dressed man and woman and holiday-decorated street lamp.  Decoupaged street lamp on left side exterior of opening.  Burgundy narrow ribbon threaded through hand-cut slits around opening of egg.  Gold-tone leaves wind around pedestal and cluster of leaves extends from base with bows and streamers of burgundy ribbon, greenery and miniature pine cones, accented with "snow". White wooden octagonal base decorated with fine gold braid.  Clear glass dome fits into brown rounded base.  Signed on back of eggshell near top of pedestal "Jane '87".
