Details: Small, brown "face jug" hand made by Daniel Boone of Byron, GA. This piece features a black spotted, short snouted dog with floppy ears and black nose. Jug has applied handle and is signed on the bottom "Daniel Boone GA". The artist is from Washington County, GA, which was a known pottery center dating back to the 1820's. Daniel and his wife Sherri aim to carry on the tradition of folk pottery using Georgia clay.
