Details: Porcelain bread and butter plates with hand painted floral centers, reticulated borders, and gold trim. Each is marked on the reverse with the Carl Thieme "SP" hallmark and "Dresden".
Carl Theime founded his porcelain factory in 1872 in Potschappel, later becoming known as the Carl Thieme Porcelain Manufactory. The company was known for its colorful porcelain figures, vases, and dinnerware regarded for it's craftsmanship and detail.
