Condition: Very good pre-owned vintage condition. One tiny chip under glaze on lip, one fine hairline crack at top of one handle, more noticeable from inside. Please see photos.
Details: White porcelain scalloped, or melon-shaped bowl with lip folded in between handles. Art Nouveau in feel. Lip of bowl is decorated with an iridescent buff band with scrolls inside and fine gold patterned trim just below. Interior is painted with a tinted wash in shades ranging from pale gold to pale green. Large hand-painted roses in shades of pink and yellow with green/brown foliage. Marked on bottom in green with RS's wreath and star logo, "Germany" beneath. RS Germany is part of the wording in marks used by the Tillowitz, Germany, factory of Reinhold Schlegelmilch from 1914 until around 1945.
